A merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Jane & Ian.
The Snoozing Stowaway.
Ah , they joys of Christmas - family around, the food flowing, and everything feeling wonderfully jolly. But leave it to Ian and Marty to give us a festive tale we'll never forget!
So, picture this: over the break, Ian has to pop to the garage for a quick car repair. Being the thoughtful chap he is, he grabs our little dog Marty for a pit stop at the office to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Lovely right? Well, it gets better.
After the quick pit stop, Ian sets off to the garage. An very ordinary journey - nothing to see here! He hands over his car to the engineer, hops into his courtesy car, and off he goes, blissfully unaware... that Marty is still in the backseat of his car, fast asleep.
Now, just imagine the scene when the engineer realises there's a tiny, snoozing dog in the back! I'd have paid good money to see the look on their face. Thankfully they noticed pretty quickly, and poor Marty was reunited with Ian, safe and sound.
When I found out, I couldn't believe my ears! Ian's forgotten his fair share of things over the years, but leaving the dog?! That's a new one!
