Subscribers will be able to access ready-to-use schemes of work containing three sessions that take half an hour a day and mixed with two Book Talk sessions that last a week. Each lesson plan gives the teacher a step-by-step process to follow, including the modelled text, learning outcomes and 'steps to success'. This license allows the whole school to access the materials.
The plans are adaptable between the year groups, so you can tailor them to suit your schools needs. You will be able to download units that cover narrative, non-fiction and poetry. There are enough plans to cover a whole year's worth of teaching for every year group.
These unit plans work inline with Hooked on Books system. Developed by Jane Considine, Hooked on Books transforms the teaching of reading in the primary phase and Jane's best-selling book, Hooked on Books, is available to purchase here.
